Vilnius is 700 years young! Energy and Technology Museum congratulates the people of Vilnius and the entire Lithuania on the capital’s 700th anniversary, which is being celebrated for the first time in history. Today we invite:
From 5 PM – opening of the exhibition “Salve, Vilnius’DCC” and free visit to the museum;
Thematic 3D printing and lasering in the museum infocenter;
Guided tours “History of Modernization of Vilnius” and “100 Years of History” (subject to availability);
On the roof terrace, at the interactive stand, leave a greeting to Vilnius. We will create a general greeting to the capital from voice recordings.
A letter written by Gediminas to European cities in 1323 has already reached us from Latvia. Although archaeological research shows that the first inhabitants settled in the territory of the present Old town as early as the Stone Age.
Since the time of Grand Duke of Lithuania Gediminas, Vilnius has been known for its hospitality, inviting people from other countries to trade, craft and practice their faith freely.
